We are 20-something San Franciscans. Joe works in Online Sales and Operations at Google, and Emily is (for now) a research fellow and lecturer at Stanford, specializing in neuroscience and law, and will be a lowly 1L in the fall. We met 6 years ago in college, started our relationship one week before Emily moved to England for 3 years(!), and have lived together in Cambridge, MA; Cambridge, UK; New York, NY; East Palo Alto, CA; and presently in the Mission Dolores neighborhood of San Francisco, CA.
Joe is a volunteer tenant counselor at the San Francisco Tenant’s Union, an avid runner, collector of LPs, (recently) cyclist, and (very recently) into golf. (Golf is apparently the new big thing in Gurgaon, whereas cricket still dominates in the rest of the country as India’s favorite pasttime!) Emily loves to cook, visit farmers markets, make her own stock, and organize elaborate dinner parties (sensing a theme?), as well as run and do projects around the house. We’re both into hiking and backpacking, rock climbing, high and low-end wine, late 70′s psychological thriller movies, Sunday morning yoga, and all things San Francisco.
We are very blessed to have loving families and friends around the world.

Come now Murphy…Joe is a twentysomething, but we geriatrics fall into the category of almost-thirty-somethings.
Have fun in India. Avoid the monkeys.
